From Custom Dyes to the Academy Floor

Every brand has a beginning; ours started in a kitchen sink and a washing line.When my two sons—the "H’s"—first stepped onto the mats, I wanted them to fall in love with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. But let’s be honest: for a kid, a plain white uniform can feel a bit stiff. To make the journey more exciting, I started customizing their Gi's.

We experimented with bold dyes, crazy colours, and custom patches that reflected their personalities. Suddenly, getting ready for training wasn't a chore—it became exciting.

Standing Out Never Gets Old

As the boys have grown older, their technique has improved, but one thing hasn't changed: they still love to stand out. I realized that there were thousands of other parents looking for the same thing—gear that balances the "cool factor" kids want with the "battle-tested" quality parents need. I decided to take everything we learned from those early DIY days and turn it into a brand built specifically for the next generation of grapplers.
